BOOK ELDER ZEITGEIST NAVIGATOR MIKE
Speaking Engagements — Pre & Post Elder Solo Sailing Northwest Passage Expedition 2027
I'm available to speak to your group, organization, school, or event about elder homelessness in Canada, the elder zeitgeist Solo Expedition 2027, fundraising for this cause, and The Hustler's Abode — the conceptual project behind long-term elder housing dignity.
Whether you're looking for a pre-expedition talk (the mission, the 12 months preparation, the journey ahead, why this cause matters) or a post-expedition talk (lessons from 7,000 nautical miles elder solo sailing through the Northwest Passage, and what it means for elder homelessness going forward), I'd love to connect.
Topics I speak on:
Elder homelessness in Canada — the hidden crisis
Elder Solo sailing the Northwest Passage at 65
Fundraising for a cause, one nautical mile at a time
My very own homelessness lasting for a “short” 9 months, over 35 years ago in Vancouver
Reintegration obstacles and challenges from homelessness to homeowner - successful entrepreneur
The Hustler's Abode — re-imagining transitional housing for homeless elders in Canada
Aging with purpose, defiance, and dignity
